I live in Kibbutz Yehiam and those who know me say that "Iam a bundle of energy"
That enjoys arranging memorableexperiences.
There are those people that onlyhave to think of entertaining a couple of people for two days and they get aheadache.
I, on the other hand thought nothing of it, when for years, Iregularly entertained twenty five people including babies and children each yearfor our "harvest festival" in the Kibbutz. They came to enjoy the traditionalspectacle of a kibbutz harvest festival including the agriculturalparade.
Youmay think “what is the big deal”?
Believe me there are several problems whenyou live in a 44sq.m flat and have laundry facilities that are exclusively forthe use of the members. It requires skill, patience and imagination to copewhen entertaining a tribe, even if it is the family.
Collecting enough linen and sortingout sleeping places for everyone is no mean logistic feat and that’s before thecooking and baking.
Despite the effort, I never missedan occasion to entertain because I enjoy it so much.
Today I organize memorableexperiences and events that require much more intricate logistics and planning. Even so, after what is often several months of arranging, I always arrive at theevent full of energy and smiles.
Ifyou need to organize a school event (harvest festival?), a fun day or entertainvisitors from abroad then I am the person to help you with my knowledge and knowhow.
Mybrother-in-law always says that “if there is a place in the heart, there is aplace at home”
